The MotoGT is basically all done and restored. I have yet to try and decide if I want to tear the pedals apart and then try to find all the million bearing balls that fall out and then see if I can get them back together. If I do, I should take care of it soon. Right now she’s rocking the world’s most beat-up SPD pedals.
Overall, not a bad project. The paint on the frame is pretty rough in spots. It could use a repaint, but it still looks good from a few feet back. All the components cleaned up nicely and work absolutely perfect. There’s no reason to not go ride this puppy across the country if one chose to do so. Stops on a dime, shifts great, rolls forever and rides like a Caddy. One nice bike if I must say.
Some pics….yeah, that’s a shock. Full gallery here.
